This is a brilliant and deeply comforting poem. It masterfully captures the intellectual and emotional courage required to question inherited beliefs, and then offers a profoundly hopeful resolution.
The message is clear and empowering: true spirituality isn’t found in the walls of an institution or in rigid dogma, but within the individual’s own search for meaning. The shift from fear to enlightenment is a journey many will recognize and find solace in.

Yes, indeed. Our body is a ‘temple’ but many do feel a need to gather with others in buildings to pray. Either way, we can commune with the divine and experience the highest part of our being most often forgotten in Life. I do believe you’ve been on this ‘merry-go-round’ often too Michael. 😁🙏
