Was looking at your owl and our neighborhood hoot owls started hooting! We have Barred Owls here but we call them hoot owls! They are stoic like your friend. One landed on the top of a bird feeder pole here by the porch and when I’d give a hoot he’d turn and stare at me. Don’t think he appreciated my conversation. Happy wandering!
Hahaha! Beautiful nonetheless.

The Great Grey is bigger than a lot of other owls, and you’re right; he is handsome with his little bow tie.
