it was on an old mine dump like this one
that a relative of mine lost his life
it was the first funeral i’d been to
and i sat with his kids and his wife
to a young child, it seemed so surreal
and i would take some time to mend
but now death comes calling so often
it feels like he’s an old friend

So sorry for your loss Michael. It’s been sniffing around on my end too. I can relate.

I figured some would relate to being at a funeral as a child. Thank you, Pat!

Beautiful scenery but I know it can be treacherous. Be careful in your wanderings.

Being careful doesn’t get one good pictures, however, a misstep here and it could end all photography. lol
