it’s time to write a poem, no doubt,
but what am i to muse about?
our country’s state is looking sad–
so politics is out.
perhaps i could expound my view
on sacred things i think are true,
but that might make some people mad–
so no religion, too.
and yet, here, on this winter’s day,
there is one thing that i could say
that’s sure to make most people glad–
spring is on its way!

Spring is here Michael! Absolutely beautiful today. You are right about the other stuff. Unbelievable but we knew it would happen because he had been hinting at it but I didn’t think it would be this bad.

With such a long, cold winter here, we sure appreciate the warmer seasons. Like I heard someone say once of Minnesota: 9 months of winter and 3 months of poor sledding. Thank you, Michael!

Spring forgot to sprung here. Had 80s last week, went down to 19 last night. I’m ready for some gardening! Happy wondering today!

Yup! It definitely is. It’s 23 degrees out and my butterfly bush has baby leaves on it for a while now. So come on spring, we need the light!!
