so much rain, so little time,
waiting for summer as it slips away
i said there’s so much rain, so little time
waiting for summer as it slips away,
i bet it rains on the fourth of july
with lightning and thunder
ruining the day
so much rain
so little time

Please send some of that rain down our way. We haven’t had a good rain in a month.

I wish I could, Dwight, we’ve plenty to spare.

Love the repetition in this poem.

Thank you, Cendrine! It’s the typical format for blues to repeat the first line.

Send some rain our way! We’re parched here!
Tell the bear there are plenty of other lairs!
Happy day!
