My friend and I call this a Wanapitei. She had a dream before we drove some distance to visit her sister. It involved seeing a sign of an unfamiliar place name. We were given quick instructions for an alternate way to connect to the highway for our return home. (Before we had cellphones.) Somehow we missed following instructions and headed through unfamiliar roads. I laughed and said that I didn’t know where we were heading but it felt like the right direction. That’s when she saw the sign and told me her dream. From there, we had no trouble finding our way back home. That was Wanapitei. So, I do relate to your post easily Michael. Thanks!

My husband always said everyone was in such a hurry to go no where. Beautiful photo! You captured the motion of the birds’ flight!

I swept the camera along with them, and cormorants are very fast, so I didn’t think I’d get it. I got lucky. Thank you, Lane!

I’ve tried writing a Senryu or two but they always sound dumb. I like yours very much.
