america
please understand
a house divided
cannot stand
and if we lean
too far one way
the winds of change
will seize the day
and we won’t have
a house at all–
america will fall

america, the leaning
america
please understand
a house divided
cannot stand
and if we lean
too far one way
the winds of change
will seize the day
