Earthen carousel,
The stars,
In vast array,
Light up
Our cosmic carnival–
The twinkling
Milky Way.
The fairway
Teems with stars,
Perhaps
Five hundred
Billion strong;
Look up
And see the galaxy–
It’s open
All night long.
