🙂 I’ve seen male bees (who can’t feed themselves and have to be fed by the female workers) get kicked out of the hive (where they slowly starve to death).
We males are a sorry lot!

The tops of the old mine dumps are perfect for ants, it’s like anthills on top of a giant anthill! This was only one of many.
