So she let him come into her lair,
But when he was finished,

I went for a walk, and what did I see
But the friendliest bear sitting up in a tree,
And I called out to him, “Hey, Mister Bear,
I was just wonderin’ what you’re doin’ up there.”
He smiled at me as he came climbing down–
But I was long gone ere he got to the ground.

A tick-laden black bear named Clyde
Could take it no more and he cried,
“What right do you hold
That you ticks are so bold?”
“The right to bear arms,” they replied.

A bipolar bear named Rene
is merrily manic in May
But then by late autumn
She sinks to rock bottom
And sleeps the whole winter away.
