O little tree
Of the meadow,
You’re on your own
But don’t be blue,
For all the trees
Of the forest
See you alone–
And envy you.

Looks like my neck of the woods! Pretty.

Never thought about the crowded trees in the thick forest being jealous of those who are alone and those alone longing for the comfort of others. Wonderful symbolism here! Enjoy your wanderings. I’m wandering back to Alabama tomorrow.

The grass is always greener… thank you, Lane, have a safe trip! Is “safe trip” an oxymoron? lol

If travel is risky, it would be an oxymoron. We are too smart! Once I get past Newnan Georgia I’m wandering back home on a 2 lane highway. My favorite way to travel. I’m happily perched back in my swing this morning. Happy wandering!
