the sun comes up
a river flows
the world turns
and so it goes
don’t lose the spell
you once were under–
recapture now
that child-like wonder
lest here today
a river flows
the world turns
and so it goes

Such a glorious photo of a sunrise, you have to believe in a higher power when you witness this. It’s mesmerizing to me! Just think how many folks have never cared enough to watch the sun rise or the sun set. You capture them perfectly and don’t intrude in their quiet beauty with your photography. Do you take many shots till you are satisfied with the result or do you just click and fade from the scene.? Happy day!

Out of ten shots, one may catch my eye upon reviewing. Thank you, Lane!

My husband was always stingy at work with our film for the newspaper… trying to be frugal. We got a new boss the last few years and she told him to take as many shots as he needed to capture the moment perfectly. So freeing for him. Me, too, since I was often photographing children in the company day care and afterschool programs. Happy evening! Don’t mean to be pesky.

I remember when we had to send our film in to be processed, and we couldn’t waste any shots; now I can click away with wild abandon. lol

Russell Corporation had an in-house print shop that developed our film and printed our magazine and publications. Love your photos today! Beautiful capture of the mist and fog. We’re waiting for the wind and rain bands of Hurricane Helene to visit us. Happy day…keep wandering!
