Chaos and Order

The snow buntings have arrived en masse; it’s finally cold enough for them here.

Many birds fly in some kind of formation, often wingtip to wingtip like the Blue Angels, but these little snow birds are all over the place. From here, it looks like total chaos, but nothing could be further from the truth.

  1. You are insightful. These birds prefer the thrills of unorganized free flying. The spectrum between opposites of order and chaos allows for so many possibilities both freeing and restricting. I welcome creative chaos in my artistic processes as I value the freedom it gives me. Nature demonstrates the full spectrum. So glad you posted this.
